1. What this policy covers

This policy describes the RoadMatch recommendation, reviews and buying-guides website. It does not cover Auto Trader or any other website opened from an outbound link.

2. Questionnaire answers

Budget, vehicle preferences, youngest-driver age range, annual mileage and postcode are stored locally on your device using browser storage so progress and results survive a refresh. A random local seed and shortlist counter help vary only near-equal recommendations. This preview has no RoadMatch account system or server-side profile database.

You can remove these answers by clearing site data in your browser or resetting the questionnaire.

3. Marketplace referrals

When you select “View cars for sale”, RoadMatch creates a URL containing supported search filters such as make, model, budget, postcode, radius, fuel and transmission. Opening the link sends those URL parameters to Auto Trader under its own privacy policy.

4. Contact information

The preview contact form does not transmit or store submissions. A production version must add an approved processor and update this policy before accepting messages.

5. Analytics and advertising

This version does not install advertising trackers or non-essential analytics cookies. If that changes, consent controls and this policy must be updated before collection begins.

6. Your choices

You can use reviews and guides without completing the questionnaire. You can also decline the marketplace handoff and copy the recommendations for your own research.

Use the contact page for privacy questions. A data-controller identity and live contact channel must be added before a public commercial launch.
