Cookie policy

What browser storage is used?
RoadMatch stores a questionnaire profile under “roadmatch-profile-v1” and the privacy-notice preference under “roadmatch-cookie-notice”. It also stores “roadmatch-recommendation-seed-v1” and “roadmatch-recommendation-run-v1” so near-equal eligible cars can be varied without reshuffling on every refresh. These values stay in the browser on your device.
Are these cookies?
They use local storage rather than traditional HTTP cookies, but this policy explains them because they serve a similar preference function from a user’s perspective.
How long are they kept?
They remain until you clear site data or overwrite the saved questionnaire. RoadMatch does not set a remote expiry because the values are not sent to a RoadMatch server in this version.
How do I remove them?
Use your browser’s site-data settings for this domain. Removing site data resets saved answers and shows the privacy notice again.

Non-essential analytics or advertising storage must not be enabled without an appropriate consent mechanism and an updated policy. See the privacy policy for more.
